Measuring and transparently communicating the environmental impact of products is an integral part of ITW Construction Products Italy’s innovation journey.
Both brands, Elematic and SPIT, are working in this direction by developing EPDs—Environmental Product Declarations based on verifiable and comparable data.
SPIT has already developed EPDs for SPIT HC6 and C6 nails, while Elematic aims to develop its first product EPD by 2027 and gradually extend this approach across its range.
This work makes it possible to measure, report and improve products’ environmental performance, making their life-cycle impact more transparent.
From innovation to measurement: understanding impact is the first step towards reducing it.
