A system to recover and reuse process water has been introduced at the manufacturing plant where heat-shrink tubing is produced. Thanks to this innovation, overall water consumption has fallen by 50–55%, while maintaining the required quality and production standards.
The initiative is part of ITW’s broader commitment to using resources efficiently and advancing the circular economy, with the aim of optimising processes, reducing waste and lowering the environmental impact of industrial activities.
SDGs (2030 Agenda): Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation); Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
